One great benefit of enrolling in our accredited online academy is the fact we keep track of grades for you! This allows you to relax and enjoy the freedom that online learning brings. It also allows you more time to focus on what really matters: your family and your student.
After enrolling, our staff tracks your student’s progress in multiple areas. Your student’s records are meticulously kept by dedicated personnel, and parents can request copies of student data at any time.
Grading of Student Work
When choosing lesson format, consider the involvement you’d like to have with your student’s studies. With online lessons, you’ll receive complete grading by the academy for all tests, quizzes, daily work, and special projects. If you choose print-based lessons, you’ll receive partial grading by the academy of tests and special projects. With this option, parents will be responsible to check daily work and quizzes. To help expedite grading of print-based tests, students can instead take some tests conveniently online.
Our Grading Scale
Our online academy has the same grading scale for all enrolled students to ensure fairness and impartiality. Our staff also monitors academic integrity to record true educational progress. Depending on the curriculum format chosen, the weight of tests, quizzes, and projects will vary. Kindergarten students do not complete tests.

Course grades are calculated by the semester. Exact semester grades are always shown on transcripts. The pass threshold is 60%. If your student needs to retake a course, an advisor can help you re-register for it.
Requesting Student Grades
Parents can request student grades from our online academy at any time. Grade reports are issued by semester and also include annual grade point averages. If using online lessons, parents can look up unofficial grades within the curriculum whenever they choose. Parents can also look up print-based tests completed online at their convenience. Parents may also call 800.682.7396 or email their assigned academy service representative to request an official grade report.
