The October 2018 student of the month is Hannah McDonald, a sixth-grade student from Eastern Alabama who has impressed her teachers with her positive attitude and excellent grades.
“Hannah is extremely proactive with her academics,” wrote Mrs. Kelly Kuehn, who nominated Hannah for the October honor. “Hannah has displayed tremendous effort towards truly understanding the content. When she doesn’t understand something, she seeks help immediately. Hannah meets with me regularly during my whiteboard hour. This is all Hannah’s effort. She is so proactive and takes total responsibility for her learning.”
