Calling all race fans, Mario KartTM Wii enthusiasts, competitors, and/or students looking for a fun time to socialize with other ICA students! ICA is proud to once again announce Mario Kart Wii Summer Sprint coming June 20 from 2-4 p.m. (CT). You may recall that ICA also hosted Mario Kart Wii parties in December and March. Many students participated and had such a great time that ICA thought it would be a wonderful idea to do it again in the Mario Kart Summer Sprint!
In order to participate, students will need to have the Nintendo Wii console, Mario Kart Wii, and an Internet connection. If you do not have all three of these, it will not work for you to play with us. If you have a Nintendo Wii and you do not have the game, you can rent it from many different distributers throughout the United States, or you can borrow the game from a friend. Every Nintendo Wii has the capabilities to get online. If you are unsure about how to get your Nintendo Wii connected to the Internet, see your Nintendo Wii manual or read the online directions.
Students will need to email their Wii friend code to Ashley Van Maanen by June 18. This 12-digit code is found when you get connected online on your Mario Kart Wii game. If you are unsure about where to get your friends code or how to get set up to play, the academy will be having an online class to get you some assistance June 15 at 2 p.m. (CT). In order for you to play with us, you will need an ICA code as well that will be emailed to you before June 20.
If you have questions about the Summer Sprint, please email Van Maanen. Don't miss this opportunity to have some fun with your classmates and teachers. We look forward to competing against everyone again!
