Join us for one of Ignite Christian Academy’s 2019 graduations. ICA will host three graduations, two regional and one virtual ceremony.
The Dallas area regional ceremony will be held in Allen, Texas, on May 10, 2019, at Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church. The Orlando area regional ceremony will be held in Orlando, Florida, on June 14, 2019 at Eastland Christian School. The academy also offers a virtual ceremony that will be held on May 24, 2019, as an option for students unable to travel to one of our scheduled ceremony locations.
Each regional ceremony is a traditional cap and gown event. These ceremonies include a special welcome, a challenging address to the graduates, and the presentation of diplomas. Each regional ceremony is followed by a reception for the graduates and their invited guests. For those participating in either one of the regional ceremonies, there is an optional Day Away team building activity the morning of graduation. To have the Day Away the morning of graduation, five or more people must sign up for this event. Both regional ceremonies begin at 7 p.m. local time.
The virtual ceremony will be broadcasted live online, allowing graduates to participate from anywhere in the world. This will give graduates the ability to share their accomplishment with their families and guests. The ceremony includes a live address to graduates and a presentation of diplomas. The virtual ceremony will begin at 2 p.m. (CT).
Steps to Register for Graduation
1. Complete the online registration form.
2. After you sign up, your education coordinator will reach out to collect payment.
The deadline to sign up for graduation is Friday, March 22, 2019.
The cost to participate in a regional ceremony is $200 per graduate. There is no fee for guests, but we will need to have an approximate number so we can plan ahead. The cost to participate in the virtual ceremony is $70 per graduate. All graduates participating in the ceremony will receive a cap and gown, tassel, senior T-shirt, and DVD of graduation as part of their payment. We hope to see you there!
