Ignite Christian Academy students in grades K-6 are invited to participate in our first Academy Science Fair!
We kicked off the fair with an informational meeting on April 28, where we discussed the components of a strong science fair project. Each project should include a good hypothesis, a material list, a well-written procedure, and a detailed summary and conclusion. Students who choose to participate have creative freedom when crafting the questions they'd like to ask and designing tests to find the answers they seek.
Students should turn their projects in to Mrs. Blind by Wednesday, May 21, for evaluation by the elementary teachers and a few special guest judges. At 2:00 p.m. (CT) on Thursday, May 29, students can participate in an online classroom to show off their experiments and discuss their results with classmates. Please be sure to send any questions to Mrs. Blind at kblind@aoacademy.com.
