Rock Rapids, IA (October 16, 2012) – Ignite Christian Academy, an accredited online school for grades K-12, has launched a dual credit program that allows ICA students to enroll in online college-level courses and receive college and high school credits simultaneously.
Dr. Deb Secord, the director of Ignite Christian Academy, said the dual credit program was created to save college-bound students tuition money and time in completing college credits early. The program is eligible for juniors and seniors who have a current GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Partnering with Northwestern College, a private Christian college in Orange City, Iowa, ICA will offer four courses in the spring 2013 semester and hopes to expand course offerings from more Christian colleges in the future.
