Students who enroll in the course will need access to a word processor and presentation program. Programs that meet the course requirements are available for free online.
Fundamentals of Digital Media is a semester-long high school elective. The course introduces students to the many facets of digital media, including media effectiveness, website design, gaming, apps, social media, and media trends. This is a great course for a student aspiring to work in the fields of journalism, marketing, business, web design, computer programming, or game design.
New Applications: Web Development in the 21st Century is a high school elective that helps students explore the world of website design. The half-credit course provides practical experience in the fields of website, blog, and mobile app development.
