About Me
I was born and raised in Southern California. Both of my parents were educators, and I knew early on that was the path I wanted to pursue. After graduating from college, I married my long time best friend Andrew in 2011. We have 4 children…fur children that is. In 2020, we took a courageous risk to leave our jobs, sell our home, and move across the country to sunny Orlando, Florida. This move has provided us the opportunity to follow our dreams and God’s plans.
Favorite Verse
My favorite Bible verse is Romans 12:2. “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Moving across country and starting over, this verse gives me hope that through an open heart, open ears, and a willingness to follow God’s plan that I will live the life I am meant to live.
First Job
My first job was at IKEA. I have an older brother who moved away to college when I was very young. I didn’t know him well, so my parents sent me to live with him during my summers in high school. I worked alongside him at IKEA for two summers. I learned a lot about myself, grew up a lot, and bonded with my older brother. I am so thankful for these opportunities.
Hobbies
Living in Orlando, Florida, my main hobby is visiting theme parks. I love rollercoasters! I also enjoy dancing, reading, art, and studying the Bible.
Bucket List Item
There are many things I would like to accomplish in my life, but the number one thing I want to do is to become a mom.
Favorite Place
I would love to travel the world, but I am afraid my travel to this point has been very minimal. I would say my favorite place that I have traveled would be Alaska.
Person I’d Like to Meet
If I could meet anyone, it would be my maternal grandmother. She died when I was very young, and I am told that I am a lot like her. I have heard many stories about her, and I would love the opportunity to talk to her and get to know her.
