About Me
I was born and raised in Southern California. During my college days at Drake University, I became involved with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, and after graduation, worked with them as a campus staff member on campuses in North Dakota, California, and Minnesota. I then served for 37 years as a pastor to churches in Florida and Iowa. I am now retired and living in Kissimmee, Florida, with my wife, Cathy. We have three children and six grandchildren.
Favorite Verse
Ephesians 2:8-9. This verse tells me why Christianity is different from all other religions. Other religions tell me what I must do to be saved, and they leave me wondering if I have done enough. Christianity tells me that it is not what I do, but what God has done that saves me.
First Job
Delivering laundry for Temple City Cleaners.
Hobbies
Travel, grandchildren, visiting with friends, walking or riding my bike in the beautiful world God made.
Bucket List Item
I would like to go to heaven.
Favorite Place
I traveled through Europe visiting Paris, Switzerland, Venice, Rome, and London.
Person I’d Like to Meet
Jesus Christ. I would love to sit in front of the tomb and watch him rise.
