This year ICA will host three regional graduation ceremonies. Ceremonies will be held in Dallas, Texas on May 4; Sioux Center, Iowa on May 25; and in Orlando, Florida on June 1. Each event will be a traditional cap and gown ceremony and will include a special welcome, a challenging address to the graduates, and presentation of diplomas followed by a social time with fellow graduates and their families and friends. A hundred years ago, students were distance learners. They just used snail mail for assignments and tests and rode in horse-drawn buggies to classes in a distant town. In 1911, it was called classes by correspondence. In 2011, it's called online school. [Read more…]
