Academy Prays at Annual See You at the Pole Event
Since its beginning in the 1990-1991 school year, Christian high school students have gathered in small groups around the flag poles on their campuses to offer prayers for their fellow students and their schools on the fourth Wednesday of September. Introducing Live Online Classrooms
Here's big news for Ignite Christian Academy students! ICA is proud to officially announce the option of live online classrooms for all students. Students can now attend scheduled virtual classes, along with seeing and hearing live instruction from teachers. Students can interact with fellow students, ask questions in real time with chat or phone, and watch demonstrations of concepts by viewing the teacher's shared computer screen.

ICA Adopts the Six Traits of Writing
When you start looking for Mr. Right or Miss Everything, where do you begin? Most of us have a set of standards that must be met. Those standards are based on traits that you want to see in such a friend. We develop a high set of standards, expecting the best in each of the traits deemed important in a prospective spouse. Although certainly less life-changing, but still very worthwhile, is an evaluation of the traits we would like to see in our writing. If we set high standards for our writing traits, we will have a better relationship with our writing, and so will our readers.
