In this course, you’ll begin building vocabulary and simple conversational skills to start communicating in ASL right away. More than just language, you’ll explore the rich culture, history, values, and communities of the Deaf world—learning to appreciate diversity as a beautiful part of God’s design. With a focus on empathy and connection, this course equips you to break communication barriers and reflect Christ’s love to those who are often underserved or overlooked. ASL I invites you to be a bridge-builder, honoring every person as made in the image of God.
