Introduction to Careers in Education and Training explores careers ranging from early childhood to higher education and of the laws that govern them.
During this semester-long career course, students in grades 11-12 receive an overview of professional opportunities available within the fields of education and training. Students spend their time exploring career opportunities that range from early childhood care to higher education and gain an understanding of the laws and guidelines that govern them.
Throughout the semester, students also examine skills and policies that impact careers in education, including health and safety standards, ethical and legal policies, collaborative learning skills, and techniques for overcoming communication barriers.
