Starting next January, ICA students can get a head start on college with the new dual credit program at Ignite Christian Academy! Recommended to college-bound juniors and seniors who have a current GPA of 3.0 or higher, the new program helps students work toward a college degree while also receiving credit at ICA.
In the program, students register through ICA only, and ICA enrolls them in an online course at a private Christian college.* Students then work directly with the partner college's teachers for instruction and assignments.
Each dual credit course is only $599 and also counts for one semester (.5) of credit at ICA. This is a significant savings compared to normal tuition costs at a private Christian college, especially considering you don't have room and board costs!

*Dual credit courses are through Northwestern College, a private Christian college in Orange City, Iowa. Additional textbooks may be required. Course options and program enrollment are subject to change.
Dual credit students are not required to attend the partner college upon graduation. If a student chooses not to attend the partner college, he or she may negotiate transfer of dual credits to their college of choice upon high school graduation. ICA recommends that you check with your college of choice to determine how the transfer of credits will be handled.
