As the weather turns cold, we approach a season devoted to reflection and thanksgiving. The Bible reveals that God cares for and watches over us. As we pause our busy lives to gather with family and friends later this month, it is also important to take time to thank our Lord for the care that He provides.
Psalm 100 offers instructions for giving our thanks to God. Particularly in verse four, it says,
"Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name."
Later this month when we celebrate Thanksgiving with our families and friends, let's give thanks to our Father by praising Him.
This is also a fitting time of year to remember those who are experiencing challenges in their lives. I encourage everyone in the Ignite Christian Academy community to be in prayer for fellow students and families who are experiencing hardships at this time.
