"He who gives attention to the word will find good, And blessed is he who trusts in the Lord" (Proverbs 16:20).
October means that school is in full swing at Ignite Christian Academy. Students are busy working through lessons, studying for quizzes and tests, and completing projects. Meanwhile, teachers are busy grading projects, hosting online classrooms, hosting online office hours, and helping students with their coursework. As we move into a busy fall semester, I would like to take a little time to reflect on the ICA school verse.
If you look closely at the Ignite Christian Academy logo, you will notice Proverbs 16:20 written near the top. This is a great verse for students, teachers, and parents in a busy fall semester. School is challenging, and ICA challenges students to grow in knowledge, understanding, and their walk with the Lord. In Proverbs 16:20, we are reminded of how we can be successful in that challenge. It means that we need to put effort into the task at hand. We need to give it our best to achieve our goals, but success does not come from hard work alone. We must also trust in God to guide us.
At Ignite Christian Academy, we want to help you achieve your goals for the semester. Teachers are ready to help you on the phone, in online office hours, and through responses to your messages. The best place to get started is on the Course Information page in your ICA account. This page provides the contact information for each of your teachers. Also, take advantage of Online Classrooms that provide live lessons from a teacher to help you with specific topics and concepts.
