Let the Mario Madness continue this March at ICA! After a successful turnout at the first Nintendo Wii party in December, Ignite Christian Academy is once again hosting a party this March, where teachers and students race against each other online in the game Mario Kart Wii. Mario Madness will take place on March 21 from 2-4 p.m. (CT).
To participate, students need to have the Nintendo Wii console, Mario Kart Wii, and an Internet connection. Unfortunately, you will not be able to participate if you do not have all three of these items. If you have a Nintendo Wii but you do not have the game, you can rent it from many different distributers or borrow the game from a friend. Every Wii has the capability to get online. If you are unsure about how to do that, read your Nintendo Wii manual or visit this link to connect your Wii to the Internet.
Students who wish to play also need to email a Wii friend code to Mrs. Van Maanen by March 14. This 12-digit code is found when you connect online to your Mario Kart Wii game. If you are unsure about where to get your friend code or how to set up the online game, the academy is hosting two online classes for assistance. The time and dates of those classes is still to be determined and will be emailed at a later date. In order for you to play with us, you need an ICA code as well that will be emailed to you before March 21.
If you have any questions about Mario Madness, please email Mrs. Van Maanen. Don't miss this opportunity to have some fun with your classmates and teachers. We look forward to competing against you!
