Mark your calendars for ICA's next monthly social event, the May Repartee. Slated for May 23, the May Repartee will be a fun opportunity for elementary, middle, and high school students to interact and compete in a friendly online environment.
Elementary Spelling Bee
Spelling bees can be an excellent opportunity for homeschool students to engage in educational and friendly competition with other children their age. The May Repartee will offer elementary students the same opportunity through ICA's first spelling bee.
Middle and High School Debates
Our middle and high school students adore interaction, be it through the student center or online classroom chats. To encourage students to get to know one another, the May Repartee will invite middle and high-schoolers to a series of games and discussions, with topics such as "Would You Rather…", a best soft drink debate, and "The Last Word," a word association challenge. A webinar for each activity will let students sign up for their favorite offering.

Vote for Our Mascot
We received several creative and thoughtful suggestions for an ICA mascot following last month's call for submissions, and reading through your ideas was a joy. Staff have compiled the results and narrowed down the list to four finalists:
– Boomerangs
– Eagles
– Lions
– White Stallions
Now we need your vote for the finalist that you feel best represents Ignite Christian Academy. (Keep in mind that a mascot means more than just a logo.) Register your vote by Friday, May 18 to be a part of the selection process.
