Is your high school student ready for the world? Would you like to give him a solid Christian worldview that will prepare him for godly lifelong living? Ignite Christian Academy has exciting news to share with you! For the 2010-2011 school year, we've added a new elective for grades 11-12 that outlines the fundamental truths of the Bible and shows how to apply biblical principles to daily life. Foundations for Living: Studies in the Christian Worldview® is the perfect elective for preparing students for life beyond high school.
Now available in Switched-On Online® or Switched-On Schoolhouse®, Foundations for Living from ICA provides this essential elective in online or computer-based formats. In this one-year elective, teens will be presented with topics including man's purpose in the world, the Christian family and roles, dating versus courtship, education and art, politics, and practical Christian living. Students will learn the stages of action: believing, thinking, seeing, and doing. This course provides integral information about how to apply biblical principles to their own lives.
Presented with Switched-On's media-rich content, Foundations for Living comes with the hands-on learning your student loves and includes interactive elements like videos, slide shows, and dynamic text. Bible verses and important Christian beliefs are included throughout the course. The issues of morality, secularism, God's sovereignty, presuppositions, and the sanctity of human life are all discussed and examined through the light of the Scriptures.
Prepare your student to face the world with a strong Christian worldview foundation! Foundations for Living from ICA is a highly recommended course for all high school upperclassmen.
