On Thursday, October 18, the elementary department hosted a math class about number boxes. These math puzzles are a great way for students to practice multiplication facts.
Following the class, the students were assigned to create their own number box for their parents and peers to complete. Matthew Clegg’s puzzle was chosen for publication this month. The numbers in the left column and top row represent the multiplicand and the multiplier, and the remaining boxes are the answers to the multiplication problems Matthew has created. For example, 8 x 9 = 72.
Can you complete Matthew’s number box?
