Ignite Christian Academy is pleased to share that we honor scholarships from Folds of Honor, a nonprofit organization that awards scholarships to children of those killed or disabled in military service.
In addition, we’re pleased to announce that we’ll be awarding our own military scholarship* to one full-time ICA student who applies for but does not receive financial assistance through Folds of Honor. Contact us at 800-682-7396 for more information, or apply online through Folds of Honor by March 31, 2016.
Folds of Honor Success Story
“We were struggling with the public school system. My husband and I have two daughters whose needs could not be met within the public sector, and we were not left with many viable options for private education locally.
As we began researching, we found that several of our friends had been using and still use Ignite Christian Academy. Their response to the curriculum was a positive one, and after praying about it, we decided this could be the best fit for our family. The only hindrance was the financial side.
My husband is 100% medically retired from the USAF. He suffered a head injury while active duty and received emergency brain surgery. We have nearly lost him on more than one occasion. Due to his disability rating, the academy informed us we may qualify for the Folds of Honor program.
God has blessed us, but we wanted to give our children the best education possible. Where the public sector has been lacking and greatly affected my girls’ learning, Ignite Christian Academy has bridged the gap. In fact, they have far exceeded our expectations. Our youngest began the year in the public system, and now, instead of boredom, she is enjoying learning on a 3rd grade level. Our oldest was falling behind according to public standards, but once enrolled, she flourished and has come into her own learning right on target. The online curriculum and setting have been and continue to be a huge blessing in our lives.
We couldn’t have afforded this opportunity without Folds of Honor. Folds of Honor came in and picked up our tuition when it would have been nearly impossible for us to cover. God provided and has richly blessed our lives with these scholarships. Our girls’ academic careers have completely turned around for the positive.”
