May 6-10 is Teacher Appreciation Week! In honor of all of our amazing teachers, this month's "Closer Look" topic is teacher appreciation. Students from all over the world wrote in to tell us what they appreciate about their teachers. We would like to thank all of these students for sharing their photos and stories!
You can contribute to the "Closer Look" feature, too! Next month's topic is creativity. Send us a picture of something creative you have done, for example, a birdhouse that you made with your parents. Include a short description with your photo that describes what you created and why you made it. Of course, there are a few ground rules. Your photos must be appropriate. Any inappropriate photographs will not be published. Your description must be approximately 3-5 sentences in length. Send your photo and description to MyICA@aoacademy.com by Friday, May 31. We will feature your photos and stories in the June edition of the ICA Today!
