Each and every ICA student is talented. This month’s “Closer Look” topic showcases student creativity. Three students wrote to share some of the crafty projects they have recently completed.
Sharon B: I made this for my Mom to give on Mother’s Day. It shows her how much I appreciate her.
Hello, my name is Alicia M. and I’m fifteen years old. I love sewing, cooking, and reading. I have sewed a mini sock monkey and a wedding dress for it.
Hi I’m Taylor B. I’m in the 6th grade. This is my tote bag. I made this out of duct tape and drink pouches. I recycled the juice pouches, and I use it all the time. I made this and it took four days because I had to save the juice containers.
We would like to thank Alicia, Sharon, and Taylor for sharing their talents with us! The “Closer Look” feature is going to take a break, but keep watching the ICA Today for ways that you can participate and share your talents!
