About Me
I grew up in Southern California, but I have lived all over the United States, including Arizona, Minnesota, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Virginia. We currently live on a hobby farm in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. I married my best friend, and we have five homeschooled children.

First Job
I mowed lawns, dug trenches, and helped install irrigation systems for my dad’s landscaping company.

Hobbies
My hobbies include reading with my kids, writing stories, rocking on my front porch watching birds, fishing, tubing behind the boat, dancing, performing car karaoke, and farming. More than all those things, I love to share the Gospel.

Bucket List Item
I want to visit every state with my children (we still have 20 states to go).

Favorite Place
I love the Colorado River in Arizona, but I also love the green of the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Person I’d Like to Meet
I would want to meet Martin Luther. He is quoted saying, “I have so much to do today that I’ll have to spend the first three hours in prayer.” I think that says a lot about the man.

About Me
I live in Lafayette, Louisiana. We lived in Katy, Texas, for a five year period, but came back to Lafayette, which is home for both me and my husband, Mike. We have 4 children named Tyler, Nicholas, Katelyn, and Dylan. I enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling with my family and friends, and reading.

Favorite Verse
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Phillipians 4:13).

First Job
My first job was as a babysitter. I also worked as a court reporter’s assistant in high school. In college, I worked at Sears department store as a clerk and at Chili’s as a waitress.

Hobbies
I love to travel, read, garden, and spend time with my family and friends.

Bucket List Item
I am hoping to one day travel around Europe. I am also hoping to travel to most of the national parks around the United States. There is just so much beauty to be seen!

Favorite Place
I loved Yellowstone National Park and Yosemite National Park! God’s beauty is everywhere!

I would like to meet Mother Theresa. I am amazed and inspired by her life and faith.

About Me
I am originally from a small town in Northwest Florida. After college, I married a man with a heart to serve. The military life has taken us many places. We’ve lived in Florida, Maine, and North Carolina, and we are currently stationed in Mobile, Alabama. Together we have a son (Noah) and a black lab (Reilly).

Favorite Verse

I worked clothing retail at Pacific Sunwear (now PacSun)

Hobbies
I love to read, write, and spend time outdoors (especially kayaking and snorkeling). I also enjoy listening to records and playing board games.

I would love to learn American Sign Language!

Favorite Place
France, hands down. Whether seeing the sprawling city of Paris from atop the Eiffel Tower, walking along the beaches of Normandy where history is still scattered about the sand, or exploring castles and medieval fortresses throughout the countryside, it is truly a beautiful country.

Person I’d Like to Meet
I would love to meet several writers and historical figures, including Anne Frank, Amelia Earhart, Sir Winston Churchill, and my Greek immigrant great-grandparents.

Favorite Verse
“From there Elisha went up to Bethel. As he was walking along the road, some boys came out of the town and jeered at him. ‘Get out of here, baldy!’ they said. ‘Get out of here, baldy!’ He turned around, looked at them and called down a curse on them in the name of the LORD. Then two bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the boys. And he went on to Mount Carmel and from there returned to Samaria” (2 Kings 2:23-25). There are many memorable stories in Scripture. This is just one example.

First Job
I was raised on a farm, so arguably, that was my first job. However, my first paying job was as an audio technician at Valparaiso University.

Hobbies
I hike, camp, and kayak all over the United States, especially within state and national parks. My favorite national park is Glacier (so far).

Bucket List Item
I would like to visit New Zealand at some point. I might come back.

Favorite Place
A few years ago, I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Germany. I am always looking to travel as much as I possibly can.

I have been with Ignite Christian Academy since August 2019 and love getting to interact with students. My husband and I have two children who are 10 years apart! My favorite things to do in my free time are hiking with our family and our 4 year old goldendoodle, Moses, reading, and traveling to new places.

Favorite Verse
James 1:19-20. “My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.” I love this verse because it is a good reminder to listen to all sides of an argument and to love first.

First Job
My first job was working in a coffee shop in Dallas, Texas.

Hobbies
I like walking with my husband and kids. I enjoy running and reading when I have the time.

Bucket List Item
I would love to be able to go to Ireland with my family. We planned to go for our honeymoon but couldn’t because my husband had to go on an Army assignment.

Favorite Place
I love New York City. We used to live there, and I still love going back to visit.
