We would like to show the folks from AdvancED what it's like for students to attend Ignite Christian Academy. With the goal of changing education for the glory of God, Ignite Christian Academy is excited to introduce credit recovery courses for Ignitia online curriculum.
The courses are designed to provide assistance to students who are in a tight spot. Whether they lost credit due to absences, need to repeat failed courses, or are striving to graduate on time, credit recovery delivers an option to help them get back on track. [Read more…]
As decorations go up during one of the busiest seasons of the year, there is a buzz of Christmas excitement in the air. The elementary department is planning its annual Christmas Extravaganza and teachers are preparing Christmas-themed online classes. Students, staff, and parents are busy shopping, planning, traveling, and spending time with family. Though Christmas is a fun and busy time of year, we all know there is much more to the season than busyness.

On October 2 and 3, Ignite Christian Academy teachers and staff attended the 2014 Heartland Christian Educators' Convention at Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa. Christian educators from Minnesota, Iowa, and South Dakota came together, keeping the mission of the event in mind: "To support the Biblical calling and task of Christian schools by providing collaborative learning opportunities for teachers and administrators."
Two Ignite Christian Academy teachers, Mr. Gesch and Mrs. Pulkrabek, had the opportunity to present at this year's conference, offering wisdom from their time in the teaching community to their peers.
