The elementary department at the academy just finished up its second annual summer reading challenge. The following students met their summer reading goals and were asked to participate in an online class book share where they could tell other students at the class about their favorite books and authors. Ignite Christian Academy Transitions to Online MAP Test
Ignite Christian Academy has offered achievement testing through the Measure of Academic Progress test, or MAP test, for several years. In the past, students connected to the test using a remote desktop connection. We are excited to announce that Ignite Christian Academy will now be offering the MAP test online. This web-based MAP test will allow us to bring our achievement testing services to an even higher level.

ICA Summer Reading Challenge
Reading is a great way to promote literacy, imagination, and learning. It can bring students to new worlds and open doors to places that one can only read about. Reading also helps students learn new facts and develop a passion for life-long learning.
Though reading is a fun, educational activity, summer is a busy time of year full of different activities that can pull students away from reading. With many students starting school soon, Ignite Christian Academy teachers would like to encourage elementary students to get a step up on education with our summer reading challenge.
