Our secondary student of the month at Ignite Christian Academy is seventh grade student Brooks H. Brooks came to ICA in fall of 2020 to begin his fourth grade year after looking for a good online curriculum. His grandmother sent his mother a link to the school website. After looking at the school’s information, they decided it would be a good choice. They also have friends at church that graduated from ICA.
Mrs. Novack nominated Brooks for this honor stating, “Brooks is a middle school student here at Ignite who is one of the most positive and humble students I have had the honor of teaching. Brooks is also responsible, conscientious, and consistently respectful. He is a joy to teach and I look forward to our meetings and review sessions.”

If you could offer advice to your classmates, what would it be?
My advice would be to study hard, and use the resources available to us, such as study guides and previous assignments. I would also advise booking appointments with your teachers because they can help you understand the material. Other than school advice, my advice would be to read your Bible, pray, and trust that God will help you in all situations.
