Rock Rapids, IA (September 19, 2014) – According to the school's annual College Readiness Report from ACT, Ignite Christian Academy students surpassed both state and national averages on the ACT during the 2013-2014 school year.

Headquartered in Rock Rapids, Iowa, the online distance learning school for grades K-12 reported an average composite ACT score of 23.0, which exceeds the state of Iowa's average composite score by a full point and the national average by two full points.

Rock Rapids, IA (September 10, 2014) – Ignite Christian Academy, an online distance learning academy for grades K-12, is pleased to announce a new dual credit partnership with the University of Northwestern – St. Paul.

The program, known as Early College at the University of Northwestern, gives high school juniors and seniors a head start on their undergraduate degree by allowing them to enroll in online college courses at a discounted rate. Students who enroll in the program at the beginning of their junior year can earn up to two full years of college credit before ever setting foot on a college campus.

Rock Rapids, IA (August 19, 2014) – Ignite Christian Academy, an online distance learning program for grades K-12, congratulates Assistant Principal Tim De Jong on his induction into the North American Fastpitch Association (NAFA) Hall of Fame last week in the Quad Cities.

De Jong played in eight NAFA World Series between 2002 and 2012. During his time with the Sioux Falls Sox, his team won the NAFA World Series AA Championship in 2007, and placed second and third in the same division in 2009 and 2010.
