Our mission at Ignite Christian Academy is to enable all learners to deepen their faith, pursue knowledge, cultivate character, and be released as servant leaders that glorify God. Your feedback is vitally important to ensure we provide an experience that reflects our school mission.

Last fall, all students and parents were invited to share their personal feedback on their experiences at Ignite Christian Academy through the ICA Stakeholder Surveys. The school counseling department at Ignite Christian Academy (ICA) serves students in grades 7-12 through a variety of avenues. Students are referred to our counselors for different reasons such as falling behind on their pacing to complete coursework within their school year. Those who are willing to work with school counselors learn to identify challenges, set goals, and learn strategies to be successful in their coursework. [Read more…]

Ignite Christian Academy will have an official spring break from April 11-15, 2022, during the Holy Week. There will be no student work assigned that week and will not count towards student’s end date. Teachers will also have limited availability. We pray that you take the time to focus on Christ during Holy Week.

When brave men and women enter the armed forces, they know they may be asked to make the ultimate sacrifice of laying down their life or well-being for our freedom. In the wake of these sacrifices, the families of these heroes are often left with heavy burdens even beyond their grief.

Folds of Honor is a non-profit organization that seeks to recognize and honor these sacrifices and the burdens left on surviving family members. Each year, Folds of Honor provides educational scholarships that make it possible for the children of America’s heroes to pursue the highest education. [Read more…]

Merry Christmas, ICA families! Each Christmas season, I rejoice in the hope I have in the Lord, and I know that this year, in particular, God is calling me to be still. I want to encourage you with the same challenge. Christmas can often be a time of filled schedules, and it can be easy to get lost in the noise of the holidays, even if your schedule is full of well-intentioned things and church events. Very truly, this is a season to celebrate! God delivered in His promise to us to bring a Savior, and through Jesus, we can know and have life eternal with the Father. [Read more…]

December 20 through Friday, December 31. Coursework will be due again beginning Monday, January 3, 2022. If you would like to work during this time, you will be able to access your coursework.

Please keep in mind, however, that there will be limited teacher support during this time. From Monday, December 20, through Thursday, December 23, live, on-demand academic support will only be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (CT). Pre-scheduled individual student appointments will be available as normal. All ICA Staff, including education coordinators, will be unavailable from Friday, December 24, through Friday, December 31. All staff will resume normal hours beginning Monday, January 3, 2022. [Read more…]

Ignite Christian Academy is excited to announce that students in grades K‑6 now have access to Imagine Math and Imagine Literacy at no additional cost. ICA’s 2021 elementary science fair is open and ready for viewing! This year’s fair included a total of 36 participants, representing all grades K-6. A huge thanks to Mrs. Kelly Kuehn for all her hard work behind the scenes.
